We use 100% original screens for our MacBook repairs.
We replace damaged LCDs with original ones, keeping the backlight intact. This ensures all functions, including the camera and True Tone, work as they should, and the original hinges remain untouched.
Please note: if your screen has water damage affecting the backlight or any other damage from impact on the backlight, we won’t be able to reuse it. In such cases, the entire screen housing (top lid) will need to be replaced, as the backlight is embedded into it. The housing also requires replacement if it is too bent to properly fit a new screen. Replacing the housing will also result in the loss of the True Tone function, as this feature is uniquely paired to the original screen assembly from the factory. This replacement carries an additional charge. The housing we use will be a genuine Apple part taken from a used MacBook, as brand new genuine housings are not available on the market—only non-genuine ones are, which we avoid for quality reasons.
If a housing replacement is needed, we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Please be aware that the usual turnaround of 1–2 days will not apply in such cases, as additional time may be required to source a suitable part.
Third-Party Screens: Unlike many repair shops, we don't use third-party screens from sources like eBay. These may look clean externally but have inferior backlight quality and hinges that can become faulty over time.
