Replacing the housing will also result in the loss of the True Tone function, as this feature is uniquely paired to the original screen assembly from the factory. This replacement carries an additional charge. The housing we use will be a genuine Apple part taken from a used MacBook, as brand new genuine housings are not available on the market only non-genuine ones are, which we avoid for quality reasons.
If a housing replacement is needed, we will contact you to confirm before proceeding. Please be aware that the usual turnaround of 1–2 days will not apply in such cases, as additional time may be required to source a suitable part.
